Lisa Liberatore

Lisa Liberatore is the Program Manager at UpStart Maine, the Bangor Region’s innovation hub connecting entrepreneurs statewide to resources, customers, and each other. With over a decade embedded in Maine’s startup ecosystem, she has built deep expertise working alongside founders—helping them refine business models, secure funding, and forge meaningful connections.

Before joining UpStart Maine, Lisa launched and led multiple ventures, including Baxter Tea Company, Lisa’s Legit Burritos, CoVort and played a key role in the Scratchpad Accelerator, guiding more than 20 high-growth startups to raise over $7 million. She has curated a statewide mentor networks, organizes cohort events, and fosters partnerships that amplify innovation from Bangor across the state.

A passionate connector, Lisa thrives on bridging entrepreneurs with investors, mentors, and support organizations. Her mission: to ensure Maine’s innovators have the networks—and confidence—to grow. With a Master's in Higher Education Leadership and a track record of ecosystem-building, she’s a recognized leader in driving regional entrepreneurship.
